Hi Brian,
Your letter makes what I do such a pleasure. That is reward enough. I can really relate to the part of your letter about enjoying looking for treasure that you can take without despoiling the dive environment. That is the very idea that motivated me to do this. I love diving and I love making pottery so I hide some of the pottery I make everywhere I dive. I hope you will accept it as a gift from one diver to another. You can't buy my pottery, you can only find it. That sort of makes it rare and hard to get. I hope that one day my pottery will be famous and you will have a real treasure. I am sending you a picture of your pottery in it's underwater hiding spot as a certificate or authenticity. Thank you for taking the time to write to me and let me know that you had found it.
May All Your Dives Be  Wonderful,                                                                                                                                                                        Wanda

Brian,
Thank you so much. What a treasure you have given me. I am going to make copies of your pictures and display them in my office. You can't imagine how much this meant to me.

December 12, 2003

Arriving home from work today I found a large UPS package sitting under the porch in front of my front door.

I took it inside and carefully opened it. Inside was a beautiful bluebird house.

A shark tooth perch that Brian found diving off Venice Beach had been added for a perch. The perfect touch!

He wrote, "I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed Sunken Treasure # 11."

Thank You Brian,

I know I will!

Thank you Brian,
I know I will.

Found a pot!

On 6/12/03 I found one of your really nicely crafted pots while diving on the wreck of the Duane off key Largo. Scott, the mate on Capt. Slates' dive boat told me how you leave pots at various dive sites for people to find - What a cool idea! My dive buddies and I are always looking for artifacts, etc. that we can take with out despoiling the dive environment. I found the pot on the starboard deck right next to the rail. It was some what of a challenge to get it back to the boat as it wouldn't fit into my goodie bag but it survived in perfect condition. Thank You very much for my unexpected souvenir. If you send me your address or Post Office Box I'd like to reciprocate with something from our dives.

Again Thanks!

Brian G.
